Overview & Use Cases
Able Hardware is a China-based industrial carts & trolleys manufacturer serving OEM/ODM buyers who require configurable, high-duty solutions built for safety, uptime, and export logistics. We design and produce welded steel cart frames with laser-cut components, precision hole patterns, and application-matched caster sets—supported by export-ready QA, confezione, and documentation in metric units (mm, kg, °C).

Why this solution for high-duty cycles & logistics efficiency
For operations that move parts, subassemblies, Strumenti, totes, and bins all day, carts fail where frames twist, wheels flat-spot, and brakes drift. Our designs combine robotic MIG-welded frames with quality casters and ergonomic features, yielding straighter tracking, predictable push/pull forces (per ISO 11228-2 guidance), and longer service intervals. Result: fewer line stops, safer handling, and lower total cost per move.
Typical industries & applications
Automotive/component plants, 3PL and DCs, e-commerce picking, electronics/instrument lines, appliance and furniture assembly, hospitals/labs, and fabrication shops. Common uses include kitting, picking, tugger train transport, WIP staging, and instruments/tools organization.
Technical Properties
Load ratings, deck sizes & caster choices
Typical working loads (WL) range 100–1,500 kg, defined with agreed safety factors and separate static vs dynamic test criteria. Deck sizes and shelf spacings are customized to totes/bins or footprint targets. Caster/wheel options: Ø100–200 mm; tread materials gomma / PU / nylon; cuscinetti ball or roller; top plates/bolt patterns per spec. Brakes include swivel or total lock; directional locks support tugger tow-lines and long runs.
Limitazioni & alternatives (brief, se del caso)
Where washdown or chemical exposure is critical, we can specify acciaio inossidabile frames and hardware. For floor conditions that damage tread, consider softer PU or rubber; for heat, nylon. If tow speeds or loads exceed trolley norms, we may recommend trailers or AGV carts as alternatives.
Manufacturing Options
Process flow (laser cutting → robotic MIG → machining → finishing)
Taglio laser & prep of tube/plate → robotic MIG welding of frames and subframes → straightening → drilling/tapping → light Lavorazione CNC of interfaces → finitura (powder coat, zinc plate, or e-coat). Explore related services: Robotic Welding, Taglio laser & Lavorazione CNC, e Finitura.
Supported tolerances (ISO 13920 / ISO 2768) & hole patterns
Frame fabrication per ISO 13920 Class B/C; machined features to ISO 2768-m; thermal cut quality per ISO 9013. Datum scheme suggestions:
- UN: wheel/caster plates (flatness/position)
- B: locating faces for shelves/decks (squareness)
- C: handle mounts (position/parallelism) Apply GD&T for planarità, squareness, and hole-pattern position so casters track true and shelves seat flush.
Disegno & Geometry
Cart types (platform, shelf, tugger) & configurable options
Standard families: platform carts, shelf/picking carts, tugger/tow carts, instrument/tool carts, e custom fixture/jig carts. Frame materials: carbon-steel tube/plate, stainless on request. Typical tubes 20×20–100×100 mm, wall 1.5–6.0 mm. Options include removable shelves, tubular or sheet-metal decks, fork pockets, corner posts, and toe-guards.
Handles, bumpers, tow bars, guards & branding plates
Handles sized to operator anthropometrics (ISO 11228-2 guidance). Add corner bumpers, tow bars/eyes for train use, mesh or sheet side guards, e branding plates for asset ID/visual management. We also integrate stops, latches, and retainers to secure bins and loads.
Qualità & Test
What we verify (static/dynamic load, brake, caster durability, CMM)
Verification includes static/dynamic load trials, brake holding on grade, e caster durability cycles. Key interfaces may be checked via CMM to confirm hole positions and alignment.
Documentazione & traceability (COA, FAI, PPAP basics)
Deliverables can include COA, dimensional reports, FAI, e PPAP (agreed elements). Material/finish traceability is maintained and referenced in the traveler.
Finishes & Durata
Powder coat, zinc plating, e-coat; color standards & corrosion targets
Finish options: verniciatura a polvere (RAL/Pantone equivalent), zinc plating to ASTM B633 (or equiv.), e e-coat for complex geometries. Corrosion targets can be validated via ISO 9227 salt spray by agreement; chip/adhesion by ASTM D3359/D4060. See Finitura for more.
Confezione & Shipping
KD/nested packing, labeling, ISPM-15 export pallets/crates
For container efficiency we engineer KD (knock-down) o nested packing. Export sets include labeling by SKU/PO, parts lists, e ISPM-15 heat-treated pallets/crates. Learn more in Confezione & Shipping.
Prezzi & Tempi di consegna
Moq, sample policy, indicative cost drivers (no hard prices)
We support samples/prototypes before SOP and blanket orders with releases thereafter. MOQs depend on frame size, caster spec, e finire. Cost drivers include material grade/gauge, caster diameter & bearing type, finish system (powder vs e-coat vs zinc), weld length/fixture complexity, and packing density. No absolute prices—quotes are based on drawings, WL targets, test/QA scope, and delivery terms.
Standards & Conformità
Relevant standards/certifications & documentation provided
Caster/wheel: ISO 22883 / ISO 22884 Trolley safety: EN 1757-3 (platform trucks & trolleys—safety) General risk: ISO 12100 Fabbricazione: ISO 13920, ISO 2768, ISO 9013 Finishes/testing: ASTM B633, ISO 9227, ASTM D3359/D4060 QA set: COA, dimensional, FAI, PPAP basics (agreed). See Qualità.

FAQ
Do you offer stainless steel?
Yes—when corrosion or hygiene is critical, we can build frames and hardware in acciaio inossidabile; otherwise carbon steel delivers the best value.
How do you define load rating?
We define Working Load (WL) with an agreed safety factor and run static vs dynamic tests. Typical WL is 100–1,500 kg depending on design and casters.
Which caster/wheel should I choose?
Match diameter (Ø100–200 mm) e tread to floor and duty: PU for mixed floors, gomma for noise/shock, nylon for heat/chemicals. Add total-lock/directional locks for control and tugging.
What tolerances do you hold on frames and holes?
Frames per ISO 13920 Class B/C; machined features to ISO 2768-m. We apply GD&T to keep hole patterns square/true so casters track correctly.
What finishes are available and how are they verified?
Powder coat, zinco (ASTM B633), e e-coat. Corrosion via ISO 9227 by agreement; adhesion/abrasion per ASTM D3359/D4060.
What QA docs can I expect?
COA, dimensional reports, FAI, e PPAP elements as agreed. Material and finish traceability included.
What about MOQ, lead time, confezione, and drawings?
MOQ/lead time vary by design and finish. We provide KD/nested export packing with ISPM-15 pallets. Please share 3D/2D drawings, WL target, caster spec, finish, and any tests/standards in your RFQ.
