Build-to-Print Fabrication From Cutting to Finishing
Build-to-print means your drawing governs, not our catalogue. We review the print first, flag features that fight the process, then run the full route in sequence: cut, form, fit, weld, machine, finish, inspect, pack. Keeping those steps in one plant removes the multi-vendor handoffs behind most dimensional disputes on imported weldments.
Prototype, Small-Batch, and Repeat Production
We quote single prototypes, pilot batches, and repeat production from the same drawing package. Volume decides tooling: hand-jigged builds win at low quantities, while a welding fixture pays back once the labour it saves multiplies across enough units. Divide fixture cost by the minutes saved per part and the break-even quantity answers itself.
Engineering and DFM Review Before Production
Before cutting steel, we return manufacturability feedback. The most expensive habit we see is oversized fillet welds: weld metal grows with the square of the leg, so moving from 6 mm to 8 mm adds roughly 78% more deposited metal and arc time on every joint. Swapping non-sealing continuous welds for 25 mm runs at 100 mm pitch deposits about a quarter of the metal.

Custom Metal Welding Services
MIG/MAG handles structural carbon steel and volume work, TIG suits thin stainless, aluminium and cosmetic seams, spot welding joins thin panels, and robotic cells add repeatability once geometry stabilises. Laser Cutting Services
Fit-up quality is decided at the cutting stage. Fiber laser profiles hold a tight kerf and square edges, which keeps root gaps consistent and weld volume predictable. CNC Machining & Welding Services
Welding moves metal; machining puts it back. When a bore, mounting face, or hole pattern is tighter than the weldment’s distortion budget, we machine those features after welding, so the datum you dimension from is the datum we cut. See CNC Machining & Welding Services.
Metal Surface Treatment
Powder coating, wet paint, zinc plating, hot-dip galvanising, passivation, and anodising finish the weldment. Specify an ISO 12944 corrosivity category rather than a colour and the system follows: mild indoor service needs far less film than coastal C4 or C5 exposure. Welded Frames, Machine Bases, and Structural Weldments
Machine bases, equipment frames, tube frames, and skid structures make up most of our volume. Upgrading from Q235 to Q355 raises minimum yield from roughly 235 to 355 MPa, often allowing a thinner section and a smaller fillet — a lower total cost despite the higher price per kilogram. Carts, Racks, and Custom Welded Components
Material-handling structures live hard: repeated loading, impact at the corners, and welds that must survive years of duty rather than a single proof load. We build Industrial Trolley Carts, stillages, kitting racks, and storage frames, with castors, handles, and hardware fitted before packing.
Welding Sheet Metal Parts, Enclosures, and Brackets
Thin-gauge weldments demand different discipline: lower heat input, stitch welds, and forms that respect the geometry. Keep holes at least 2.5 times material thickness clear of a bend line and allow adequate flange height, or the feature distorts. See OEM Welding Sheet Metal Parts.
Materials and Material Forms We Weld
Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum
Q235B and Q355B cover structural work, with ASTM A36 or EN S355 equivalence approved on the drawing rather than assumed. Stainless expands about 17 µm/m·K against carbon steel’s 12, with roughly a third of the thermal conductivity, so it distorts more at identical parameters — see Stainless Steel Welding Services. Aluminium saves around 65% of mass at equal volume, but its oxide melts near 2072 °C against a 660 °C base metal, and 6061-T6 loses temper in the heat-affected zone — see Aluminum Welding Services.
Sheet, Plate, Tube, and Structural Profiles
We weld sheet, plate, round and square tube, angle, channel, and mixed stock within one assembly. Tube-and-plate hybrids are common in frames and carts. Sawn tube length variation drives frame diagonal error more than the welding does, so cut length is controlled before anything reaches fit-up.

Quality Control, Inspection, and Documentation
Visual and Dimensional Inspection
Every weld gets visual inspection against the acceptance level on the drawing — ISO 5817 level B, C, or D, ideally assigned per joint rather than blanket-specified. Dimensional checks reference ISO 13920 tolerance classes, which are written for welded constructions; ISO 2768 governs machined features, not a two-metre frame.
NDT — PT, MT, UT, or RT When Specified
Dye penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and radiographic testing are applied when your drawing or governing code calls for them, on the joints nominated in the weld map. NDT is a specified scope, not a default: tell us which joints are critical and to which standard.
CMM and GD&T Dimensional Reports
Where geometric tolerancing applies, features are measured against declared datums and reported with the numbers, not a pass stamp. Agree the measurement method along with the tolerance — a flatness callout checked on a surface plate and one checked in free state produce different answers.
Material Traceability and Quality Documentation
Mill certificates to EN 10204 3.1 tie each heat to your parts where traceability is required. Shipments can carry certificates of conformity, dimensional reports, weld maps, and coating records, so incoming inspection works from evidence rather than assurance. More on our Quality Control approach.
